Sanchez Oil & Gas generates the majority of the company's exploration prospects internally. We have the experience to operate all phases of new seismic acquisition, drilling, and asset sales. One of the key components of our continued success in the Gulf Coast area involves access to new proprietary 3-D seismic surveys, giving SOG a first look at new prospective drilling opportunities. In addition, the proprietary seismic processing stream deployed by SOG has a proven track record of major discoveries. These same techniques used on nonproprietary 3D seismic data, when combined with our expertise in analyzing subtle seismic attributes, are yielding significant exploration opportunities which remained hidden. Our key strategy combines leading edge technical exploration with an aggressive approach to land acquisition. SOG has an extensive digital data base, with a fully integrated suite of the latest geological interpretive software.
